Parishes across Brooklyn and Queens share our donation flyer in their bulletins and vestibules. It explains how a vehicle or a bag of clothing becomes direct help for neighbors, and it carries the same phone number printed here.

Donate a car, van or truck

  • Cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles are accepted.
  • Running or not running — tell us the condition when you call.
  • Have your title and registration on hand if you still have them.
  • Pickup is arranged across Brooklyn, Queens and all five boroughs.

Our mission

The Association of Vincentian Charities of Brooklyn carries out the Vincentian tradition of serving neighbors in need across Brooklyn, Queens and the wider city. Donated vehicles and donated clothing fund and supply that work.

We work alongside parishes and their volunteers. When you give a car or a bag of clothing, it is handled by people from the same neighborhoods that receive the help.

Call 718-625-1400 to speak with someone about a donation, a drive at your parish or the assistance we provide.

Memorial and burial assistance

Families in our communities sometimes face a death without the means to provide a dignified burial. Our association responds to those needs through the parishes we work with, so that no neighbor is left without a proper farewell.

If you or a family you know needs help with memorial or burial arrangements, call 718-625-1400 and ask to speak with us about assistance.

How donations work

    Reach us at 718-625-1400 or fill out the pickup request form with your donation details.

  2. 2. We schedule the pickup

    We confirm a time that works for you and tell you what paperwork to have ready.

  3. 3. We collect the donation

    A vehicle is towed from your address; clothing is collected or dropped at a parish drive.

  4. 4. Your gift goes to work

    Proceeds and goods support the charitable work of our parishes here in the city.
